පසුගිය ජුනි මස 23 වනදින , කිසියම් පාපතරයෙකු ගේ වෙඩි පහරින් ඉදිරිපස දකුණු පාදයට වෙඩි වැදී නිරීක්ෂණය වූ කලාවැවේ යස ඇත් රජු , අතුරුදහන් ව සිට දින 8ක පසුව අද දින එනම් ජූලි 1 වෙනිදින Adeesha Liyanage මහතා විසින් නිරීක්ශනය කොට ගල්කිරියාගම වනජීවි නිලධාරීන් වෙත දැනුවත් කරන ලදී ලදී.
එනම් ගල්කිරියාගම වනජීවි කාර්‍යාලයට අද දින එතුමාගෙන් ලද තොරතුරු වලට අනුව යසඇත් රජු මෙලෙස සොයාගැනීමට හැකි වී ඇත. ඇත් රජුගේ වෙඩි වැදුනු ඉදිරිපස දකුණු පාදයේ හංදි ගල් වී ඇති අතර එබැවින් ඇතු පාදය වටෙන් කරකවා තබමින් ඇවිදිමින් සිටිනු ඇත. අපගේ මුතුරාජා ඇත් රජු ගමන් කල අයුරින්ම.
කෙසේවෙතත් හෙට දිනයේ ( ජූලි මස 2) බොහෝ විට ඇතුට ප්‍රතිකාර කිරීමට රන්දෙනිගල පශු වෛද්‍ය කර්‍යාලයේ වෛද්‍ය අකලංක මහතා පැමිණීමට නියමිත අතර ඒ අනුව ප්‍රතිකාර සිදුකිරීමට නියමිතයි. ඇතු වනජීවි නිරීක්ශනය යටතේ සිටිනු ඇත. අද දින වෛද්‍ය අකලංක මහතා , භාතිය ඇත් රජුට ප්‍රතිකාර කිරීමට ගිය බැවින් අද දින ප්‍රතිකාර කිරීමට නොහැකි විය.

The tusker Yasa that was missing for 8 days after being shot is found .
On June 23rd, the Kalawewa tusker Yasa,which was observed with a gunshot wound to its front right leg by a criminal, was found by Mr. Adeesha Liyanage and then has informed to Galkiriyagama Wildlife Officers today, July 1st, 8 days after it went missing.
According to information received by the Galkiriyagama Wildlife Office today, the tusker was found in this way. The joint on the right front leg of the tusker that was shot has become hard and therefore the tusker is walking with its leg twisted. Just like our Muthuraja tusker walked.
However, tomorrow (July 2nd), Dr. Akalanka of the Randenigala Veterinary Office is expected to come to treat the tusker and treatment will be given accordingly. The tusker is under wildlife observation. Today, Dr. Akalanka went to treat the tusker king Bhathiya, so he could not be treated today.
